Honorable Minister for Milk and Diary Development S. M Nasar inaugurated PSA Oxygen Generator Plant, set up by the IRCDS with the collaboration of GNK Foundation and XLRI Alumni Association, Chennai with the support of “GIVE INDIA”. This oxygen generator which was air lifted from Denmark, got installed. The Minister lauded the commitment of the NGOs for stepping up, which is complementing the efforts of the Government during these unprecedented testing times.
District Collector Dr. Alby John Varghese, I.A.S, appreciated the efforts of NGOs including “Give India” to respite district against COVID-19 and to become self-generated oxygen unit. District Collector honoured Mr.Stephen and gave memento to recognize the contribution of IRCDS during COVID-19 Pandemic in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister and Tiruvallur Member of Legislative Assembly.
This Oxygen plant can generate and supply 333 litres of oxygen per minute with the highest purity and desired pressure, which will support 75 Beds round the clock and can fill 60 Oxygen Cylinders in a day. This would be highly helpful during pandemic leading self-reliant for oxygen in Thiruvallur GH.
