Integrated Child Development Services ( Govt) , IRCDS, Children Believe and Clinical Nutrition Department of Sri Ramachandra University organised a World Breastfeeding Week in Poondi Block on 4th August 2022.
Awareness talks, Exhibitions about Nutritious food conducted for creating awareness about Breastfeeding. Micro Nutrients distributed to 50 lactating mothers with the support of IRCDS & Children Believe. Child Development project Officer ( ICDS), HoD from Ramachandra University delivered talks.
Similarly, awareness programs are held in all 44 Children Believe program communities.
