A one-day workshop with Tribal leaders and Inland Fisherman Cooperative Society leaders was organized as part of the Tribal Welfare Department’s funding project at the IRCDS training hall on 6th June 2024. Thiru Elavarasan, Superintendent of the District Adi Dravidar & Tribal Welfare Office, participated and explained the various schemes meant for SC and ST communities. The needs of the tribal fishing families were discussed and inputs were provided to help improve their family income.
