IRCDS Program communities celebrated National Girl Child Day 2023 on 24th January in the program villages.The objective of this day is to spread awareness about the inequalities faced by girls in society, and also to promote awareness about the rights of the girl child and the importance of female education, health, and nutrition. The day is in line with various campaigns and programs by the Government including "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao ( Save Girl Child and Educate Girl Child)" and Ensure Zero child marriages in Tiruvallur District.
