Miyawaki Forest has been established by SIP Academy in association with IRCDS in Velagapuram village, Poondi Block. Plantation was inaugurated by the District Collector Dr.Alby John Varghese I.A.S. along with his wife Dr.Gopika Rajeev on 11th June 2023. 5000 saplings 44 varieties of plants were in 30 cents of land. Borewell dug and barbed wire fencing was done. Our CFAM children / youth clubs, Children from SIP academy (Chennai), Mr.Dinesh victor, Managing Director, SIP and their Team and Mr.Mangal also took part. BDO, Panchayat President, VAO and CLC volunteers took part in the program
