The Education Department ( Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan), District Child Protection Unit and IRCDS have jointly organized a Summer Camp for Children of Migrant Brick Kiln Workers. This three days Summer camp includes various activities like communication skills, creativity skills, Arts & crafts , awareness on Prevention of school dropouts, Child marriage, child labour and cultural programs The summer camp is conducted at Government High School, Kilambakkam and Govt Middle School, Vayalanallur
In this camp Chief Educational Officer Mrs.Saraswathi, District Coordinator ( OUS), Asst Project Officer, PA to CEO and former DCPO Mr. Senthil, School HMs and Brick kiln Employers Association representatives participated.
