IRCDS recently conducted a training program for Science teachers from Government Middle, High, and Higher Secondary Schools. This training focused on enhancing their knowledge of Science Learning through the India Literacy Project( ILP) at Tirutani Government Girls Higher Secondary School. A total of 49 teachers actively participated in the program.
The training included the utilization of a science kit capable of facilitating 150 experiments. Importantly, the content of this kit was meticulously aligned with the Tamil Nadu school syllabus, ensuring its relevance for classroom use. Notably, the School Headmistress, SSA Block Coordinator, Block Education Officer (BEO), and Resource Persons from the India Literacy Project, namely Mr. Ramesh, Aakash, and Sudan, were instrumental in the success of this initiative.
It is noteworthy that all the participating teachers expressed their appreciation for the effectiveness of the training program.
